If you r looking for some extraordinary South Indian dishes then Chennai Xpress|| can be your ultimate destination. This restaurant is actually personified their name perfectly just to give You some vibes that you are traveling by the train and having some South Indian dishes. It’s located near PNB more, Salt Lake.I ordered:Crispy chilli idli- this dish was so unique and tasted extremely delicious! The small pieces of crispy idli with chilli flavor was perfect.Onion vada- the adequate amount of onion and other spices make the batter perfect and this onion vada tasted really good with coconut chutney, sambar, and tango chutney.Idli Fondue- this is the most unique dish I have ever tried .small pieces of fried idli dipped into the cheesy sauce and made your tummy satisfied.Overall a good destination to try out some veg receipe.

I am a non veg food lover but the way #ChennaiXpress2 prepared and delivered South Indian dishes I just loved it.Chocolate Dosa was so tasty that I finished it within few minutes and asked for another one. Triangle shaped dosa topped with chocolate syrup and served with vanilla icecream.Some other dishes that I have tried -Onion Cheese Masala Dosa – very tasty and a big one filled with onion slice and cheese. Served with Sambhar, samshed potato, red chutney and coconut chutney.Crispy Chilly Idly – A bit spicy but very tasty one. Peices of idly sauted with chilly sauce.Sandwich Uttapam – Uttapam is shaped like sandwich.Pesta Idly – 4 peices of idly topped with green chatney and melted cheese. It will be served with coconut chutney, sambar and red chutney.The ambience is very nice and I like the interior.Highly recommended.

Uttapam were so cheesy and flavourful. Pesta idli was so good in taste. I liked most waffle with icecream. As per quality price is very reasonable. Will visit them soon .
I went here with my friends after college . I love South Indian dish only for Dhosa but when I came here I started loving many South Indian dishes. We explore Ginny’s Dosa , crispy chilly idli(my favourite one) and Idly Fondue. Go and just try it if you are also a lover of South Indian dishes like me.
