Mutton biryani is probably the best thing on earth and a new biryani joint launches itself with lot of expectations!No doubt the taste is good, meat portions are satisfactorily sized and extremely well cooked, alongwith an egg and a potato, even the quintessential long rice for a biryani is used, but, but, the prices are relatively high.With so many competing eateries which serves not only just biryani, but also raita and salad in a price lesser than theirs they serve just the biryani!Price is a down for me, otherwise a quotidian good biryani!!!
Few days back I visited this place,The place is located at Sukanta Nagar , beside WTF.The place serves good varieties of Matka Biryani, they have introduced this whole new concept of serving Biryani in earthen potsSome of the dishes that we liked the most and would recommend are as follows:Mutton Biryani :The Mutton Biryani was very well cooked , had the perfect blend of Spices.The mutton was soft and had that aromatic flavour.In Dessert we triedGulab Jamum,Firni andLast but not the least Shahi TukdaYou just cannot miss the Shahi Tukda here, it is one of the best Shahi Tudka I had.Overall had a great experience.You should definitely give this place a try
Located at Sukant Nagar, Bidhannagar, Sector 4, Salt Lake this place introduces a new concept of serving biriyani, i.e in Matka. Basically potato, chicken/mutton, barista, spices, ghee, khoa, boiled rice are put into a matka and sealed with a clay lid and put on the oven for 15 mins, after that it was served to the people. I tried mutton Matka biriyani, it was wonderful. The taste was good and the muton was so soft. The spices were really well blended with the rice and the mutton. Overall amazing experience. you can order via zomato from this place if you are living in sector 4 or nearby. This place very close to chingrighata. They have different sizes of Matka biriyani for a single person to 3-5 person. Besides Matka biriyani, they serve delicious desserts like gulab jamun, shahi tukda, firni too.
