This place was on my wishlist for long, if you’re a tea lover who loves to explore diverse varieties of tea, you’ll definitely have a quintessential experience over here. I loved the vintage yet colourful decor of the place. Tried out ‘Birdsong’ that is, white tea with cockscombe flowers and lavender, Vietnamese Spring Roll, Mozzarella Sticks, Mexican Bean Burger, Peri Peri Pizza( if you’re thin crust pizza lover, try this one out) and brownie. Will definitely come back to this place.
First I must appreciate the ambience, specially the wooden structure and cute decor of this place, and it looked much more better in the evening..This is basically a Tea-room..visit there only if you’re fond of that..they have plenty of options in tea/coffee and snacks(bakery kind of things)..with a few options of small appetizers and ice cream. We took Gora sahib high tea set, which is their signature item and Nolen gur flavoured Tea..That tea I’m still missing so much..total bliss it was.Tea set presentation was too good,i specially loved that sandwich and muffin.Took Chicken steam momo too, momo prepared well but found it expensive.Overall, spent a nice evening there.Staff are very much helpful and courteous.
I was eagerly waiting to visit this place after I saw the pics of the place and the lovely decor.Ambience- amazing, especially great for a winter breakfast or lunch. Comfortable seating. With nice soft music.Staff- very courteous and quick with orders.Menu- offers a huge variety of tea and very reasonable price. Yes the food menu you might find a bit small but I found the food quite great and reasonably priced.Orders‐ we took a ham and cheese sandwich, non veg breakfast platter. For beverage we took the gondhoraj tea, kombucha.Review on food- Loved the tea, served in a pot enough to satisfy 2 tea person easily. And the KOMBUCHA is a must try. It’s very different, tastes a bit kind of like wine, so a wine lover might like it.The breakfast platter I loved, it was perfectly cooked with a healthy touch to it. The sandwich could have been a bit better.Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back here for the teas.
We went there on a weekday evening & for a first timer, it could be a bit tough to locate. This place has a very nice ambience, decor is chic & cool and service is courteous & great. We had Istanbul green tea, fish fingers & chicken momos. Tea & fish fingers were great, but I feel because of maybe Zomato gold they have kept the prices steep. 6 pieces of fish fingers/chicken momos for 300 is a bit too much for a cafe. The chicken momos however were not good & the outer layer was too hard. We could say we had much better momos. So I think they should relook at their prices & improve the momos, then this should be a 5-Star place.
This dainty cafe will definitely give you the feeling of a hill-station cafe within the hustle and bustle of Kolkata.Located near Tasty Corner,Ballygunj, the decoration of this place is worth special mention. We went there on a rainy day and this joint was so calm and beautiful- perfect to spend a rainy evening. The service here is very professional and quick. The food, however was not extraordinary. We Ordered-*NOLEN GUR TEA (4.5/5)*CHICKEN MOMOS(4/5)*BOMBAY VADA PAV WITH CRISPS(3/5)You should definitely try their wide range of teas. The MOMOS were pretty good and it complimented the weather perfectly.Definitely a hidden gem in the city.Worth a visit
Such a quintessential cafe amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. You will definitely find yourself in a different environment when you visit it. I had the opportunity to visit it on a rainy day and the ambience touched my heart. Moreover, the staffs are extremely courteous, well behaved and professional. Really kudos to the staff members. Do try their fish fingers. It’s so delectable. I totally recommend this place.
The pizza was wayyyy too greasy and it slightly smelled even though the taste was fine. Now there was a problem with sandwiches that we were servedThe ham was cold, so cold that I felt that they served it after defrosting it for 10 seconds in the microwave. When I complained, they immediately changed it, they sauteed the ham and it immediately tasted 10x better. They also don’t allow you to click pictures with professional camera which is quite weird since they have such a beautiful decor. It will only promote their cafe to people who use social media which is literally everyone here in the city and it will only serve as promotion for them..
