Munchies are always a good way to get a break from your regular appetite.A small Nimke (munchies) shop located near Ballygunge Station, stocks great variety of Nimke, sweets and savouries (Mostly Gujarathi foods). One can choose from a variety of snacks and savouries to fullfil your Gujarathi snack dream. There is no proper place to sit and eat, you will be handed your choice of snack or savouries on small leaf plate and enjoy it by watching the rush hour of the station standing on the footpath.Items Ordered: 2 Plates of DhoklaPocket Pinch: Rs.28 (Including GST)Dhokla is a Gujrathi dish, it is made with fermented batter derived from rice and split chickpeas. Dhokla can be eaten for breakfast, as a main course, as a side dish, or as a snack. The Dhokla was soft & spungy and the taste was pure heavenly. And Dhokla always tastes better with sweet chutney, coconut chuteny and chillies. The price is very cheap, you can enjoy a great deal just with Rs.100, and the quality is equally great.Cost for two: Rs.30 approx (Including GST)While catching a local train from Ballygunge Station, if you are hungry and need a quick bite, this is the ideal place to be.

Purchase their samosa and khashta kachauri 5 pieces each and they are good in size and quality. Fresh and can be kept for a day and ate later. Quality doesn’t deteriorate.

Located near to ballygunge station.. this is a small shop but the food quality is very nice. The dhokla is a must try. The khasta kochuri is also yummy.. one can try the salty snacks there. The sweeter ones are not that special. They don’t have any seating arrangements.. if u want to have anything they will serve you in small paper bowls. The dry takeaway snacks are also remarkable..

Have been a visitor to this sweet shop since childhood. Their kachoris(don’t know of they make it anymore), dhoklas, dil khush(my fav), samosas are all decent. Even though this shop’s sale is less due to the good ones around this, but this shop is mainly good for snacks like chanachur, bhujiya, potato chips, non bengali sweets, crackers and many more. Because this wasn’t in ZOMATO, I didn’t get to take pictures whenever I visited.
