Walking distance from the central avenue.Visited there during Ramzan. This place offers you lip-smacking food in a very affordable price.Tried their chicken haleem and firni. I tried haleem for the very first time and my experience was awesome. Firni was so yummylicious. No fancy decors but you will surely fall in love with the taste of their food.Would love to visit again.
A hidden gem situated at a stone throwing distance from the Central Avenue on the chaotic Colootola Street.A humble yet tidy place to taste haleem outside the big brands during Ramzan.Special haleem was brilliant,so was firni. All these comes in a compelling price.Overall a to go place for all the foodies.
After a stroll at Zakaria street and our way back to the Metro, got 2 plates of Chicken Haleem(they ran out of Mutton)Service was okay(7/10),not coordinated properly. Quantity was below average 5/10 Pricing was overpriced as per the quantity and taste Taste: It was just above average, below decent. Doesn’t taste like Authentic Haleem and tasted more like Chicken Rezala with brownish gravy. I and Dad were fine, but mom had a stomach upset within 2 hours of consumption.
I tried chicken haleem and firni at this restaurant must say the haleem was delicious a bit spicy though. The ambience of the plavmce is quite basic however the food is very reasonable and flavours are authentic. The firni was good to taste as it was not too sweet. Overall one can visit this place for lunch at affordable price.
Excellent food – I tried their beef biryani and the Ramzan special firni – biryani was rich in taste and not too oily. It would be among the best that I have had. The Firni had taste of Zafran. The prices are quite reasonable. So if you can wade through the narrow streets of N Kolkata, this is a small gem of a place that awaits you.
Tried out their haleem and also firni. Price is very affordable. I quite liked the mutton haleem over here. It was greasy and tasty. Then in dessert it serves as cheap as Rs 20 firni. Even its also good and not too sweet.
If it’s winter and you are in Kolkata this place is a MUST HAVE! Beef nehari with naan is scrumptious and totally fulfilling. Costs only 100 per plate. The hotel opens by 5am in winters.
