কলকাতায় না থাকার সুবাদে ডেলিভারি জয়েন্ট গুলো ঠিকভাবে ট্রাই করে ওঠা হয় না। গত শনিবার কাঁকুড়গাছিতে এক বন্ধুর বাড়ি গিয়েছিলাম , ফেরার পথে ভাবলাম বাড়ির জন্য কিছু খাবার নিয়ে যাই কিন্তু কোথা থেকে নেব বা কোথায় ভালো হবে ঠিক বুঝতে পারছিলাম না। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তন্ময় দা কে ফোন, তন্ময় দার সাজেশন নিয়ে Zomato খুলে Sunny Da Dhaba থেকে অর্ডার করলাম ভেজ বিরিয়ানি এবং ভুনা মালাই পালক। বাড়ি এসে কন্টেনারটি খুলতেই সেই চেনা পরিচিত গন্ধটা নাকে ভেসে এলো। বিরিয়ানি টির পরিমাণ খুবই ভালো মোটামুটি তিন জনের জন্য দুই প্লেট যথেষ্ট। নরম তুলতুলে পনির এবং কিছু ভাজা সবজির সমন্বয়ে তৈরি এই বিরিয়ানি এক গ্রাসেই মন জয় করে নিল। এত ভালো ভেজ বিরিয়ানি আগে আমি কখনো কোথাও খাইনি। ততটাই ভালো এই ভুনা মালাই পালক আর বিরিয়ানির সাথে এটি লাগছিলও বেশ ভালো।যারা উল্টোডাঙ্গা, কাঁকুড়গাছি বা মানিক তলার দিকে থাকেন তাদেরকে বলবো অন্তত একবার খেয়ে দেখুন জানি আপনাদের বিরিয়ানি মানে চিকেন বা মাটন মনে আসে, তবুও এটুকু দায়িত্ব নিয়ে বলতে পারি এই ভেজ বিরিয়ানি খেয়ে আপনি আঙ্গুল চাটতে বাধ্য।

So let me tell you about a place which serves good quality food called ‘ Sunny da Dhaba’.Its located at Kankurgachi and you can order via any delivery platform like zomato ,swiggy etc.The place is a pure veg outlet and is open till late night.We ordered the following.Veg Biryani- The biryani was aromatic , with long grain rice and chunks of panner and potato. Being a non vegetarian, i dont beleive in the concept of veg biryani but this was very nice and you can have it without any sides. Its served with a raita and a portion of salad.Bhuna Makai Palak – Now this dish is totally different . You can have it with a butter naan or a roti. The dish was like a thick gravy with malai and corn.I would highly recommend this place for all the vegetarian people in and around Kankurgachi.
