if you want to skip kitchen and still enjoy some authentic bengali dishes without pinching the pocket much this is the place to be. Morola Bati Chorchori,Chitol Kofta Curry, Kochu Chingri, Posto Boro and many others
Ate chicken dak bungalow from Bhojohori with home made phulkas; delicious. Finished it off with nolen gur ice cream (ethereal in this Kolkata heat). I love the egg that makes itself comfortable with it’s chicken neighbors, in the red ‘jhol’.
A good restaurant. Pure Bengali restaurant. The quality of food is very good. However, the quantity of food served is poor.
Few months ago we visited bhojohari manna, saltlake. We ordered chicken daakbunglow, chingri malaikari & pomfret fry etc. Taste of food was pretty good but ambience needs to be improved.
