This is a small take away shop located near Ballygunge Cultural Durga puja pandal.I have tried the Chicken A La Keiv from this place.Firstly, the packaging was decent. The chicken was packed in a box and the vegetables were separately packed in another container.Taste wise, it was quiet good, chicken was soft and juicy and melted butter oozed out from it’s centre. It was served with a side of veggies. Basically sauteed peas, carrots and beans.Service was good but prices are on the higher side compared to the portion size.Overall a good place to grab a quick bite or a snack.

We tried their dim er devil which was quite good in taste with generous amount of keema covering the egg and it tasted really good. Also tried their mocha r chop. To me it was also good but nothing exceptional. Also have tried their fish fry before which were also good and made out of fresh fish. Overall good experience but you might find more tastier version of these foods with a cheaper rate within a kilometre radius of this place. But yes they pay good attention to the hygine as well.
D taste is irrelevant when a customer knows he is being conned!! D size of d pakoras was even half of a chicken nugget; it’s no way for a reastaurant to do business by conning customers!!!!
I’ve only tried their Kolkata Special Bhetki Batter Fry, and it was quite lovely. A decent (read: generous) strip of fillet, proper salt & seasoning, with paper thin batter. Light on the mouth, and the fish just melts inside. Good Job! Will definitely try the other dishes in the future.
Ordered Devilled eggs, Mocha Chops and Fish fries from this outlet .The Devilled eggs were very tasty with a perfect outer layer of kheema covered by crunchy crumb layer. Left me craving for more actually.Mocha chops were tasty but not outstanding. The fish fries were again very very tasty.Must try more of their stuff.
This is a small take home outlet with young boys as staff. I wanted to pick some fries so I chose it. Strange it may seem but instead of choosing fish I chose chicken fries. It was parcelled securely. The pieces were small but enough for two of us. However it sort of dries the throat after eating. The price is moderate and parking available.
This outlet has been serving my quick snack needs for the past several months. Located just behind the Ballygunge Cultural Durga Puja pandal and adjacent to a wine shop as well serves as a regular place for ordering during weekend drinks.If you are a fish fry, bhetki lover or even wish for a Dimer Devil Mochar Chop for vegetarians this is the place.PROS – Wide variety of menu for snacks including Non veg items like Chicken Fry, mutton kebab, prawn cheese ball.CONS – Price no longer cheap, time to serve often is pretty high and stock gets finished quite quickly.
