Was here during Durga Puja,got a place at the private upper seating area.Due to the rush the biryani was okayish because it was oily and the chicken pieces were not appropriate. Butter Garlic Chicken and Pepper Chicken was delicious.The chicken was tender and the gravy was well made.Prices are rather on a higher side.Service was moderate.
This is a lovely place for kebab and Tandoor lovers like me. I really love their kebabs and starters.. Their staters are really yummy. I also tried their chicken polau, chicken bharta and nun.. They were also tasty. The staffs are very good on their work. The ambience is nice. A pocket friendly place.
This is at southern Avenue. The staffs r so quick ,well behaved and cooperative.And I love the ambiance. We have ordered tandoori chicken, chicken biriyani, and chicken bharta. THE taste is really good. Quantity is good and quality also.Pocket friendly. Must try.
We ordered butter naan and Kadai chicken. The naan wasn’t soft. It was quite chewy. Kadai chicken was blande and very oily. Chicken was not well cooked. So we had to order kebabs. We ordered murg pahari kebab. It was soft but this too sadly didnt have any taste. They served onion salad. It had a pungent smell. Staffs were courteous and ambience is good too. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Visited this place 2 days ago. Sanjha Chulha is famous for their north Indian delicacies. I loved the ambience. It was really cozy and quite spacious. The staffs were helpful.We ordered a Murgh Pahari Kebab, One Murgh Tikka Biriyani, Mutton Biriyani and Kandhari Chicken.I loved the pahari kebab. 6 pieces of succulent Boneless chicken kebab served with a plate of onion salad. The mutton biriyani was also good. And Kandhari chicken tasted really good with biriyani.But I did not like their Murgh Tikka Biriyani, there was more onions and tomato than chicken and the tomatoes destroyed the flavour of original biriyani.Overall the experience was good. This restaurant is situated near Lake Kalibari in Southern Avenue. One can consult Google maps to reach this place. It’s near Oudh, Southern Avenue branch.We went there on a tired Saturday afternoon. The place was empty. We ordered Kadai Chicken for main course and Laccha Parantha. The chicken dish tasted okay. It had around 6 small to medium sized pieces in a gravy of medium consistency having capsicum etc. The parantha was very crispy and nice. It was cut into quarter sized pieces. With time it gets hard though. However it’s highly recommended. I can’t think of any place that serves better paranthas than this one. They aren’t too sweet either as is the case in many such places. As we booked through Dineout, we had a complimentary Gulab Jamun per diner as well as a 10% off on the food bill. The Gulab Jamun was served extremely hot. It tasted okay.Overall food quality and quantity is reasonable. Ambience is nice. Service is good too. GST of 5% is charged as usual.
