We hopped into this place just to have desserts with high hope because I read good reviews about this place. We ordered chocolate avalanche. We were solved ice cold brownies. We couldn’t have one of the brownies. When we told them about it they were least bothered. Very disappointing.
One of the favourite cafes in Kolkata is my frequent visit during the city trip. The menu is awesome but the presence of charging points make this place a nice space to work from. The coffee and the omelettes are really awesome and so is the hot chocolate.

Having known about this place’s existence for a long time, I had my expectations high when I visited it. However, my experiences turned out to be quite unexpected when I actually did.Speaking of Ambience, the place is really pretty ; it is relatively well spaced w/ a pretty decor & beautiful paintings hung across. Lighting is a bit dim but it goes nicely w/ the environment plus there’s also an Outdoor Section that allows smoking so that’s always a plus.Service too, is good ; not the best or close but good.The Food however, is sort of a letdown. What bothered me most about it was it’s consistency in portions & performance. Some dishes were heavily under portioned, not even being ample for a single person. Pastas were especially lacking in quantity. Some other dishes were lacking rich flavours & accuracy. Shakes were sometimes on point & at other times completely off. Such inconsistencies much it hard for me to understand what I should expect. Sandwiches, Coffees & Desserts felt as strong points here.Recommendations would be their Chocolate Shake, Hazelnut Latte, Healthy Brown Bread Sandwich & Caramel Custard.What I’ve had :-FOOD :1. Healthy Brown Bread Sandwich – must try2. Spaghetti Pesto – portion was very low, tastes good tho3. Spaghetti Bolognese – again very low quantity, tasted average4. Mushroom Stroganoff – this was much better than the restDRINKS & DESSERTS :1. Hazelnut Latte – must try2. Cafe Mocha – must try3. Chocolate Shake – personal favourite, must try4. Mango Shake – tasted bland5. Caramel Custard – absolute winner, must try6. Double Chocolate Muffin – had it a long time ago, loved it back thenAll in all, if you stick w/ their Sandwiches, Coffees & Desserts, I’m sure you’ll be fine. The soothing ambience hit me in the first place, followed by the service. The food is really good. Had a lot of stuffs from here. And I loved each and every bit of it. Just if they could serve the food with more decoration. As cafeteria food looks more delicious with decorations.
