Mum, you really send disaster to my lunch. After visiting hundred plus restaurant, finally got a place that serves bad quality momo.Ordered one plate Chicken steam momo and crispy chicken from this palce via Uber Eats. First of all they sent only THREE pieces of momo with chutney in a aluminium foil. Don’t know, if any place gave you such odd numbers of momo. Momos were extremely dry. The chicken filling was not compact. Complete disaster.Now come to the crispy chicken. The portion was good but taste not good. Extremely spicy and the pieces of chicken were really small. May be they uses heavy chilly powder for this item.With these two items, it costs Rs. 210. Such big price for a low grade food. Well I’ll never place a order from this restaurant. Such a bad experience.

Few days back i ordered from Mum’s Kitchen.Heard a lot about them so that i thought to try them.I ordered,Egg chicken biriani.Chicken chaap.Chicken steamed momo.Chicken biriani was so light and less oily not much spicy, taste was good. It had one large piece of tender chicken breast, one egg and one potato which is the actual gem of kolkata biriani. Chicken chaap was nice but the actual flavour of chaap was missing. Chicken steamed momo was decent and had proper amount of stuffing of chicken.Overall i loved all items. Value for money.
I am foodie and noone can take place of the food in my life. So few days back I ordered from this restaurant as I was impressed by its name mum’s as this name brings in a feeling as having my food in my home. I ordered a egg rice combo with sweet sour chicken and a chicken roll as a starter and I was quite impressed with the taste of the food and the price was also pocket pinch and the taste was so great that I am dying to visit its outlet and have look at their ambience and all. So I highly recommend all to visit this restaurant
Heard a lot about this place from my friends. So thought of ordering from here. And I was so happy with the taste and quantity..I orderdEgg fried rice which had ample amount of egg in it and the taste of the rice was very good.Then I come to chilli chicken which was also very good. The chicken pieces were big enough and very soft.And last but not the least I tried their egg chicken roll. The roll was quite Big in size and full of egg and chicken in it.I really loved the taste of all the food.I will recommend this place to everyone and I will really order from here again very soon.
Location : A hidden gem in heart of this city. Tasty food at a reasonable price.Food : Ordered mughal dishes from here.For starter • 2 chicken momos – As a starter it was pretty tasty and saucy. The fiilings were of great taste.•Highly recommended.In main course I had • Egg Chicken Biriyani – Though the chicken piece was a bit dry the overall biroyani had a perfect balance of spices and was very light. Rice was also aromatic.• Chicken Chaanp – A single piece of chicken dipped in gravy was just perfect to go with the biriyani. In one word It tasted AMAZING.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THIS COMBO.Overall had a nice experience ordering food from here.Though small place and low coast but this place serves pretty amazing foods.
Mums Kitchen is a small food joint serving both Indian as well as Chinese cuisine for people low on their budget .I felt good to know that small places still serve pretty decent food cutting low their profit as far as possible . Going through their reviews on Zomato I felt like placing my order . I opted for dry chilly chicken as my starter and chicken biriyani, chicken chaap for the mains .The dry chicken was extremely spicy but being a spicy food lover I really enjoyed having it . Chicken pieces were small ,but the taste was on point .Coming to the biriyani , honestly it was very lite , less of masala (which I prefer ) and tasty . It had a good portion of chicken and a big boiled potato which is a Bengalis favourite inside a biryani . The quantity absolutely massive . Certainly more than enough for one person . The chicken chaap could have been better . It had rich flavours full of masalas but the taste wasn’t the best .Do try out ordering from the place sometime .
