  This place is an amazing blend of Chinese, Indian, Bengali and Mughlai cuisines. It is a takeaway and delivery restaurant. There is another branch situated at New Town delivering the same dishes. Coming to the food, I tasted a varied number of dishes from the Bengali and Chinese cuisines. Packaging gets a special mention from this place. All the packages were sealed with tape which prevented them from spilling. What I tasted?Special Veg Thali- A complete platter containing sufficient amount of Rice, 2 types of Veggies, Aloo Bhaja, Papad, Tomato Chatni and Salad. A thali is more than sufficient to satisfy 1 hungry soul.Among the other Veg preparations I tasted were, Dal, Saag, Potol Sabzi and Bhindi Posto, and Tomato Chatni. These dishes taste like fresh cooked home food. Not everywhere can we get such lip smacking Bengali dishes. Among the Non Veg dishes I tasted, Katla Mach & Chara Pona Mach Bhaja which were equally delicious. All the food resonated a Bangali vibe. Coming to the Chinese cuisine, I tasted,Chicken Spring Roll- The roll was cut in pieces and it tasted delectable. The stuffing was made with diced veggies and generous amount of small Chicken pieces. Mixed Noodles and Chicken Manchurian- The Chinese cuisine is prepared with equal speciality as the Bengali cuisine. Medium sized Chicken pieces batter coated and cooked in Manchurian gravy was the perfect compliment to the Chowmein prepared with lots of Chicken pieces and Egg.All the food here is prepared with the best ingredients, hygiene being the focal point.So this Durga Puja take a break from cooking and do order from this place to savor the enticing delicacies. thepetuklaal.wordpress.com
