I have checked in to this place a number of times and this is one of my most favourite dhaba. They serve exquisite lip-smacking delicacies at an extremely thrifty rate. Few of my favourite items are Irani Chicken, Chicken Butter Masala and their Chicken Tikka Kebabs.Last time I visited this place I ordered:Chicken Butter Masala – This extremely rich side dish is a power punch of flavours with a bulk of butter at the team. The piece of chicken served is extremely tender and got the right blend of some Indian spices. You’ll never stop licking your fingers once you’ve tasted this authentic delicacy. It is grubbed with Tandoori Roti and the duo is drool worthy.Fish Tikka Kebab – I got a little disappointed with this appetiser as I had high hopes because their Chicken Tikka Kebabs are one of my favorites. This kebab was a little pale in taste and lacked the right marination before getting shoved into the tandoor. The pieces of fish were small and not worth the price paid. However, their quality of food is really praiseworthy. They also provides you with a place of sliced cucumber and that is complimentary to your order. The service is good.
Chilly chicken was not that tasty as I ate on months ago.

A good place to sit, chat and have desi food , as it remains comparatively empty in the super crowded new market area. Food tastes good, not bad, but there is a lot of scope for improvement. Chicken in the butter chicken was chewy. Masala kulcha tasted good but it was not properly fried. Chicken fried rice and chilli chicken tasted average. Most of the chicken dishes here have only 1 chicken piece, this is really a problem as two people cannot share a single side dish .Though this dhaba seems to be a cheap option but due to the single chicken piece in their side dishes,we had to order 2 dishes for two people which raised up the bill.
Never had I ever tasted such bad ‘ so called authentic’ punjabi dishes in my life. I ordered chicken tikka masala, makke di roti and sarso da saag, salad and lassi. I like nothing except the salad!!. Total dismay!!. I have tasted chicken tikka masala before but this one was the worst tikka masala. The lassi was equally bad( i thought it to be authentic though).. it smelled of rose water and unfresh curd. Not sure how come this restaurant got such good reviews here.!! Disappointed!!
I have been to @Dhaba @ Khalsa quite a number of times and today I couldn’t stop myself from reviewing a never disappointing North Indian food and one of the authentic punjabi cuisine serving restaurant in the city of joy!The place may seem dull by looks but is a gem when it comes to good food, all that glitters isn’t gold such is the case same here too:)Haven’t tried their tandoori chicken in a while will gobble in my next visit!
