I went Tung Fong for the very first time on Christmas day. Another perfect chinese place in the town. We tried Crispy chilli fish and butter chicken strips starters. Both were full plate aka 12 pcs. We tried Mixed rice noodles, mixed american chopsuey, mixed garlic noodles, honey chicken and kung pao lamb. And Honey chicken was really a hidden gem.Surely we will visit again.
I have been to this place several times and it offers great Chinese food . The taste and quality is maintained over the years. The golden fried prawns is a signature starter over here.The place is well lit and spacious with adequate distance between tables. Also one important thing to be mentioned is that the service is much better than most other older counterpart eateries of the locality.
Few days back visited this place.I was very much pleased with their service and the food.I opted for chicken drums of heaven As a starter. It had a thin bater nd the meat was relatively soft and juicy.Main course I opted forMixed fried rice and Hot garlic chicken.Fried rice went really well with the side dish.I would love to visit again.
Daarsan was not available at the peak lunch hour. This is absolutely unbelievable! Staff were on hurry from the moment we entered to shut down for afternoon break. The break is at 4p.m, we entered around 3p.m and they were hell bent on taking their last order at 3p.m but people kept coming till almost 4p.m. I didn’t quite understand their shut down system. The staff behavior is below the mark. The positive thing is the ambience and the quality of food!! Awesome!
One of the legendary restaurant in Kolkata, Tung Fong has been always special. Went there for dinner and as usual no complains.We ordered Tung Fong chilli fish and drums of heavens in starters. In main course, we had mixed fried rice and manchurian chicken..Needless to say that all the foods were lip smacking..quantity and quality wise top notch..Value for money.
Tung fong is one of the popular restaurant near parkstreet. This is located just beside the Mocambo..Coming to the ambience it is very spacious. Though the decor is plain, not fancy. This place is perfect to have dinner with your family or bunch of friends..I went there with my father. We ordered chicken manchow soup, mixed fried rice, thai garlic chicken(6pcs).I expected the food to be very delicious but it turned out pretty average. Especially the thai garlic chicken.Staffs are well mannered.
