Almost every alternative weekend we have our dinner with lip-smacking Chinese delicacies from ‘Bon Ami’ from many years. It is a take away joint, located between Jadavpur 8b bus stand and Jadavpur Telephone exchange.Best chicken momo I have ever tasted. This is a very pocket-friendly restaurant. My favourites are Mix gravy noodles, chilly chicken, schezwan chicken, steamed chicken momo. Having grown up in and around Jadavpur,I have frequented Bon Ami over the years.A small establishment located near to the North Road crossing when approaching from 8B Bus Stand.This place is a hidden gem in itself. I don’t know if any other joint can match Bon Ami’s quality and pricing.A couple of my favourites:Chicken Steamed Momo: Large sized momos,with thin layer of dough and packed inside with the minced meat,leaving no gap between the filling and the layer of dough.Spring Chicken: Chunks of chicken fried in a batter and served with julienned carrots and lemon. Makes for a perfect snack item.Apart from these,the staple Chinese Cuisine items are also of high quality and they don’t compromise for quantity at the price they’re serving as well.I would recommend anyone looking for great Chinese Food at pocket friendly rates.Only caveat: Not a dine-in place and you better order or food early before they run out of stocks in the evening rush time!
Spending my weekends in Jadavpur . Bon Ami always enlightened my weekend brunch with awesome Chinese cuisine. This place is a small Chinese hub. Where best Chinese is delivered at the most reasonable price. Fish Fry and Pan Fried Momo is a must try of the starters. Devil Chicken and Prawn Fried Rice one of the most relished dish of Bon Ami. The food is very fresh and has lovely and distinct flavours of spices. If it’s best Chinese with a handsome pocket , it must be Bon Ami.
Brilliant Chinese food. The best momos I have ever tasted and extremely pocket friendly. Have been eating out from them for years now and the quality has been maintained till date .
Situated on the Tollygunge auto route. Price is quite low, but quality and quantity are very good. You can get taste of authentic Chinese dishes here.
