Ashrafia Tea, as the name suggests, primarily dealt with tea and snacks, but recently, involved in sandwiches which is the reason you can find it in Zomato or online delivery outlets. Being just 2 buildings away from my home, I have a regular visitor to this tea shop for the past 3 years or more.They serve good quality tea but the attitude of the staffs are close to being pathetic. The kachori, puri, khasta, jalebi or gulab jamun are satisfactory for the price. However, I felt samosa to be pale and tasteless on many occasions.Sandwiches or Bread Toasts are comparatively costly but of the correct taste. It is to be noted that there are quite a few grilled sandwiches stalls in the area, and this outlet does not do anything extra for the increased prices.Overall, with the exception of tea and cheese sandwich, I will not be visiting this shop if there are better or similar options available.
Ordered butter toast combo which includes 2 butter toast, 1 sandwich, 2 boiled egg and one 200ml juice but when received found that eggs are missing and there two 125ml juices. When we called they said that’s why they gave two juices ! First of all 50ml extra juice can not replace two eggs, secondly who are they to decide whether I will have eggs or juice? Did they ask or inform before the replacement? Based on items people decide a menu, its not about replacement always. And egg is not something which is not available that they cannot deliver. Anyways taste and quality was good.
