We went on a day when there was a huge crowd and we had to sit on a balcony which is not spacious at all. I was feeling like stacked in a closed room with a huge crowd. Anyway foods made to manage the mood. Must try chicken kebabs. Pork items are also good option.

Visiting BarBQ was on my wish list for a long time, finally visited this place just before Christmas and my experience was good. Located at Park Street , this restro has a huge seating capacity and the ambience of this place is amazing as well. As we visited this place just before Christmas there was a huge crowd. This place serves both Indian and Chinese Dishes but we went for Chinese as its their speciality. Now let me tell you about the food we tried out here. •Mixed Fried Rice – 4/5 •Mixed Noodles – 3.5/5 •Hong Kong Chicken – 3.5/5 I must say the quantity of every item was great and the price is reasonable as well. I would love to visit this place again.
Its a great place to have gala time with friends. Its a bar cum restaurant in Park street area. The starters they provide are really tasty. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is good too. The low light and live music atmosphere they create is soothing.
BarBQ is a popular iconic old restaurant at Park Street, known for its delish Indo-Chinese as well as North Indian dishes, particularly their Schezwan-style Chinese delectables. We’d visited it during Durga Puja so naturally there’d been a huge queue in waiting but luckily we’d been able to acquire a table with nice comfy sofas right near the staircase on the first floor after prior table booking on spot.Though dimly lit, the huge spacious interior and classy ambiance is reminiscent of a quaint European house with pretty cottage windows, wooden verandahs and paintings exuding an old-fashioned charm. We’d tried:>TSING HOI CHICKEN: A typical Chinese-flavoured chicken with a light saucy gravy, good with any Chinese staple.Verdict: 3.9/5Price: INR 315>BAR-B-Q SPECIAL CHOW MEIN: A deliciously flavourful mixed hakka chow mein, itself a wholesome standalone dish. If opting for Chinese the noodles here are a must try.Verdict: 4/5Price: INR 275>MUTTON BIRYANI: A light and not-so-rich pleasant flavoursome biryani with delish soft juicy mutton pieces; for mutton or Kolkata biryani lovers a decent option.Verdict: 3.9/5Price: INR 285Though in a rush, staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous.Service was also swift considering the place brimming with guests. For the four of us the bill totalled to INR 1447 (inclusive of a FRESH LIME SODA that one of us had taken). If one wishes to get a taste of colonial Calcutta under British rule then BarBQ is one of the well-known legendary family-run restaurants other than Peter Cat or Mocambo (supposedly owned by the same family) to head to at Park Street. Their cuisine has enjoyed mass popularity since a long time and even amidst all the busy crowd specially during the Puja they had maintained the standard and quality of their dishes. For family dinners or large groups the multi-cuisine restaurant never runs out of style, and of course, good food.
BarBQ is a pretty old bar cum restaurant in Park Street where you can go and spend a good time with your friends and family. My favourite is their Chilli Pork which is absolutely amazing. One thing they should work on : Managing guests better during rush hours.Good food but the staffs could definitely work better!
I’ve never been in any kind huge place like this. This place was really very big. Definitely finely decorated . Soft music. Stuffs were amazing. We had veg hakka , hoi chicken and lemonade. The quantity was really very pretty good for two. I guess three people can split it easily. Taste was different and good. I super liked the place.
