Visited the place for the first time . Amazing south indian delicacies. We had•masala dosa•cheese dosa ,that tasted too good.Last but not the least if your a lassi lover you should definitely try this place out. You get the best lassi out here .
This used to be my favourite haunt in my second job in the first decade of the millenium while my office was in this area. Good food at pocket-friendly prices! I used to love its pulao with the mint chutney, diced onions and the spicy, dry potato curry, and the chana tikia with the same chutney and a sweet one. To date, that’s the best chana tikia I’ve had.Long time, no visit! I thought of visiting again post work as my present office is not far. They have added a bit of space for dining in standing. Earlier it was a pure takeaway joint with just one narrow wall-mounted table accommodating a lucky few. I wanted to order chana tikia but like the past days, they had sold it out by seven o’ clock. I ordered masala dosa.I liked the crisp dosa. The sambhar was decent and the chutney was thick and tasty. The filling was a bit bland but it went well with the sambhar-chutney and the garnishing of coriander leaves. And it cost just Rs 45! I don’t know of a comparable eatery which serves it at this cost.I wish to come back for my old favourites. kolkatacurry.blogspot.com
A place which caters to office crowds, passers by and may be school children. They have a good variety ranging from dosas , idlis to chana batura to even rice items like khichri. Food is tasty but hygiene seems somewhat of a problem. It is really value for money.
Nice good place for healthy working lunches, especially of the dosa-idli kind. The pulao chhole I have eaten quite often and it’s very tasty. The lassi is a must try too. And good place for working professionals with not enough money to spend on healthy deli lunches, especially of the ‘shudh’ vegetarian kind.
Must visit there idly and dosas are awesome and the lassi is very fresh a good one for your pocket the hotel was very clean and tidy there staff very friendly
