Let me first talk about the polite and courteous waiters. They are so warm and helpful. The decor is kinda romantic. The restroom is clean and the seats are plush and comfy. I had chicken steak sizzler which was served with sauteed veggies, rice, and a poached egg. I loved the dish and will definitely visit again.

The duck festival was worth giving a try – though the duck pieces felt a bit chewy – but tastewise they were fine!4. The ‘chicken stoganoff’ was tastewise really good with the chicken with pepper & mushrooms on a bed of rice. But what devastated the dish – was excessive butter which made the dish so rich, it choked my tastebuds!5. The waiters were literally craving for tips & were very direct – that too multiple person had to be tipped! This needs to be really improved.
On occasion of my brother’s Marriage anniversary we went to Moulin Rouge to taste few items in which there were mixed fried rice a prawn makhani and I took for myself a mixed sizzler.
Moulin Rouge is a restaurant that I have visited since childhood. Its a place oozing old world charm & great continental food. Recently they have gone into Zomato gold & had bad ratings bringing overall score below 4 because of some minor things like a not so clean table cloth, weary looking decor & unclean glasses. These things do matter these days. I can still vouch for the food (prawn cocktail, baked fish) being very good & ambience on the saturday evening being excellent by the brilliant man on the piano. They just need to move on with the times, get a refurbishment, maybe a decor update & they should be back to being one of the best continental places in the city with a rating nearing 4.5.
Beautiful ambiance, silent and quite, live piano was amazing which help me creat a soft mood, good services & friendly behavior, food is also good, i want to visit again in future , all over my rating is 3.5*
