I’ve wanted to come ping’s cafe orient for a long time, a place known for its food and drinks. We were welcomed by friendly staff and the music was good. as far as the food is concerned:.) Chicken spicy dumpling – it was average, had better, lots of stuffing stuffing..) Pork Ramen – The pork was wonderful, overall a good dish..) Nasi Lemak – it was a wonderful dish, the taste of the chicken was out of this world accompanied with coconut rice..) Chocolate sandesh cheesecake – Might be the best dessert I’ve had in my life..) Chocolate Marquise – it’s too chocolaty for my liking, but hey, it’s just mine. Most of you’ll love it 🙂
Went for lunch yesterday. The ambience is very delightful and their music choice sets the mood. Tried Spicy chicken dumplings ( was not spicy at all), nasi lemak ( 5/5), pork ramen (4.5/5),For dessert sandesh cheese cake (5/5 one of the best desserts I have tried)Chocolate marquise (5/5)For drinks we have taken the God father and Beijing bellini. Drinks were so amazing but was little bit pricey for that much quantity. Can’t wait to try their nasi lemak, cheese cake and drinks again. Will surely recommend this place.Thank you
In frame : 1) Philadelphia cream cheese dimsums2) Pork belly3) Thai green curry with steamed rice4) Chocolate Marquis (dessert)Right from the dimsums to the dessert, if there’s one place that aces every dish in a meal it’s Ping’s. Had a wonderful experience!
Favourite food items to order: Dry chicken, cream cheese dim sums, ramen, Tom kha soup. Loved these drinks we tried: Yours, Doctor – a concoction of cranberry juice and gin, with a touch of honey, ginger, cardamom and orange bitter.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hot Toddy – brandy and homemade spiced honey syrup with lime bitters and spices – a great evening relaxer or to cure an irritating cold! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay the best part of our visit was the Chocolate Marquee dessert which i highly recommend. Coming to the food, me, being on diet, went with chicken salad and my friend got the bao. Both tasted good. I would say that the price is higher than your average cafe. Other than that, really liked their hospitality!
This is a small outlet which serves oriental food. Primarily known for its dumplings, most of the dishes served here are good. The Philadelphia cream cheese dumplings and the broccoli and almond dumplings are a must try. Their mock duck bao can be avoided. The bao wasn’t just made well and couldn’t hold the fillings. The highway style bean curd is worth a try and the mushroom and asparagus appetizer is also an interesting preparation. Had the simple pan fried noodles, which was again good. The sauce wasn’t overpowering, and the noodles were not soggy. Most fancy restaurants sometimes get basic dishes wrong. The chocolate foam with rum was nice and light. Loved the lemongrass pancotta. It was just perfect. Pings, though, is a pricy eating place.
Pings will definitely remind you of the streets of Thailannd. This cozy comfortable cafe is a must visit. What we liked :1) Dry Chicken2) Chicken Bao3) Chocolate marque (must try)4) efficient serviceDisappointments :1) 10% Compulsary service tax is indeed a pinch in the pocket.
