  Location – Park Street. Beside the Park Hotel.This place in one of the oldest restaurants in Kolkata. It’s an emotion for the 80’s and 90’s people. I heard so many stories about this place and finally got the opportunity of visiting it.I was there during the day so there was no live bands or any music whatsoever. It just got newly renovated but the best part is that it still has the aesthetic of old Calcutta style decor which is so rare nowadays and looks beautiful.Coming to the order:▪ Sula White Wine – got a 15% discount bcoz of happy hours.▪ Chicken Cordon Bleu – Fried chicken with cheese filling. Tasted yummy.▪ Chicken Straugonoff – Butter rice with chicken in cheese sauce. Tasted absolutely delicious.The food here is super amazing and sumptuous. The staff is so sweet and polite. The service was good too. And the ambiance is just perfect. Surely coming back here super soon!

  Trincas has always maintained a special place when it comes to the heritage of Kolkata. From it’s classy ambience to food everything is so perfect.It basically has 4 rooms.Trincas, The ming room, The other room and Tavern.So few days back I thought of having an amazing dinner and knew that Trincas never gonna fail me. We ordered-Cocktail-PinacoladaScrewdriverBloody maryFood-Chelo Kebab PlatterShepherd’s pieChili porkDrums of heavenCrispy chickenMurgh makhmali cheese kebabEach and every dish was excellent and really enjoyed having it. Service was prompt if you are in Kolkata you should definitely try this place out atleast once.

  Trincas is an emotion for most 80’s & 90’s people. The ambiance, the food and the music, all three together makes Trincas a magical place in the evening time. Small red table lamps, a glass of whiskey and a seat near the big window that gives an amazing view of Park street. It’s just an amazing experience all together. The music at this place has never stopped since 1959. Even today, bands play live Hindi music from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. and English Music from 9:30 P.M. -11:30 P.M. every single day.Trincas has four main sections that the restaurant is divided into and they are:TrincasThe Ming RoomThe Other RoomTravenSo recently just before Christmas I decided to visit my favourite place once again with my friends.Now let’s come to the food and cocktails that I had tried this time and tell you about my experience.Cocktail-PinacoladaBloody MarryScrewdriver.All the three cocktails were well presented and well mixed. They tasted really good.Food-Chelo Kebab PlatterShepherd’s pieDrums Of HeavenChilli PorkCrispy ChickenMurgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab.All of the food that I had tried was super delicious and the quantity that they serve is good enough for two adults to share. I would highly recommend the Drums Of Heaven, Chilli Pork, Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab, Chelo Kebab Platter andShepherd’s pie. The Drums of Heaven is a house specialty and it’s a must try. The chelo Kebab Platter was super delicious and filling. The Shepherd’s Pie was well baked and the lamb was well minced and properly baked. The Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab was served with green chatni and salad. The succulent chicken kebabs had a layer of cheese on it that made it more delicious.   Had a lovely brunch at this place today. Its quite an old place, serving good food and affordable drinks. Front of the house is excellent with an inviting and cosy ambience.Tried the following:• Devilled Crab – Tried crab meat for the first time and I am thrilled with the experience. It is served with mashed potato, blanched peas and a sauce.• Betcki with Paprika Sauce: This is really a treat for the taste buds. The fish is baked in a cheesy paprika-wine sauce served with veggies, mashed potatoes & cream and buttered rice.•Budweiser•Bacardi Breezer(Cranberry)I would love to visit the place again and taste other dishes.   Old heritage place still maintaining standards. had a wonderful time over there at Ashtami night.such an amazing live band performance. Food was classy too.worth every single penny.. must must visit place
