Taste of Swadesh is my favourite. I order their corn, chokha and chaat and yes pav bhaji. It is a very famous hangout spot and eatery and attracts a crowd from all over Kolkata. They serve local dishes and snacks. Each dish is prepared very carefully and under hygienic conditions.

They didn’t give everything given on the combos. We ordered the parantha combos and they didn’t provide us with the side orders. The curd was not provided.
New place for new taste however at your own risk. Had the worst experience while being at this place specially with tandoori chai which I found was the worst of all time I had trust me. The store keeper is absolutely deaf as if you tell something he will bring something else. Please think before visiting. There are lots of other choices.
I had ordered panchmel dal, kadhai paneer and Kashmiri dum aalo along with rotis. All of them were quite delicious with perfectly added spices. We also got complimentary garam gulaab jaamun 🙂 Also, the tandoori chai is the best here. Highly recommended.
