Once Penguin was a great chain of restaurants in the north suburb of Kolkata, but however their quality fell drastically, and this outlet could not escape that fall. Now of their outlets are now a shadow of past glory. The place is still maintained well, but lacklustre show makes it a flop. The food is not bad at all, rather I find it quite healthy, less oily and less spicey – good for a full family visit. However the footfall reduced to handful now a days.

It’s quite an old restaurant located near sodepur station offering quite a variety of Chinese and Indian food.The price over here is also very reasonable.we tried a few Chinese dishes .The quantity and quality both are really good .All food lovers must try this restaurant once
A place near 1 no railway platform and rather crowdy. It has a small section outside for rolls and a small place is also there to sit and eat. North Indian and Chinese foods are available with affordable price. Thali is also available during lunch. The taste is okay and amount of food is good. However quality is lil compromised.
Decent quality food. Not that great. The ambience is well maintained. The best thing about the place is it’s close to station and B.T road. However 2.0/5 on food quality. Place is clean and well maintained. Transportation is available.
