Bombay Hotel stands inside the deep Kolkata’s Zakaria Street, near the Nakhoda Mashjid. It’s a famous eatery for local people and there is no time of rest for the waiters most of the time. There is no ambience literally, it’s more like a Kolkata’s pice hotel with a focus to local muslim population.Though it attracts a heavy footfall daily, during the Ramzan month very few outsiders find it to be worth. Whatever others say, I can say that their beef bhuna and beef keema is legendary. I recommend to have it with tandoori rooti. For Food I would rate it 5/5.If you’re looking for ambience & hygiene stay away.
Visited the place during Ramzan and tried their ‘famous’ beef chaap. It’s simply out of the world. The meat is soft and tender while the gravy is rich in spices. It’s a must have for a beef lover. It costs 80 rupees per plate which is every bit worth. Try it with the paratha.
The best beef chaap in town. This place is located near zakaria street. This is not a fancy place but the food is very tasty .The biriyani is not very oily. I even had firni where the sweet was well balanced. I would highly recommend this place for all the beef lovers.
A famous restaurant in Zakaria street. I went Zakaria street on a single day to visit max number of restaurants of that particular area. For directions take help from the gmap.It is famous for its beef champ & tandoori rotiChamp was nice. Meat was tender as well as juicy. Quantity is ok for 1&½ roti for a single person. But the roti was a bit on the harder sideBut overall,Taste 4/5Ambience 2/5 (if you really cares that please don’t go)They have some kebab also in their menu. If you want then you can hand on that. But, I want menu card. The waiter told no menu card. He told me the menu 3-4 items & it’s price that’s how I ordered.29.01.19
One of the cheapest places. I had beef biriyani there. Though it was tasty but had excess oils. Beef koftas were delicious. However, staffs are not good, I must say.
