Tolly cafe is located at tollygunge just beside Bangur high school. It is a small cafe decorated with griffities and beautiful lights. The things that I had there are -1) Fried rice – The rice was very well cooked with vegetables and it contained adequate pieces of chicken and prawn. It tasted fabulous.2) Lemon chicken – The lemon chicken was tangy and sweet. People who don’t prefer spicy items will love it. The chicken pieces were big and succulent. Thus the taste was fantastic.3) Rabri cake – This is one of the innovative desert I have come across still now. In this dish, fruit cake was served with their. The taste of the Kheer was just mind blowing. So when I dipped the yummy fruit cake in that Kheer, it tasted fantastic. The service was very prompt. The staff working there were very nice and will make you feel homely. Overall had a great experience and thus highly recommended.
Visited This wonderful cafe few days ago with my family. It is located near tollygaunje. The ambience of the place is more like a dhaba. The place is beautifully decorated with flowers & lanterns. We tried dry chilli chicken, mixed fried rice, chicken manchurian & cake with rabri. All the items were excellent . Try their dry chilli chicken and rabri.Staff behaviour is also good.Overall had a wonderfull experience at tolly cafe.
Tolly cafe is a place where I expected a cafe like environment but I was quite surprised to see the ambience inside as it was a quite a typical dhaba type. This cafe is located near tollygunge and 5 min from tollygunge metro and few minutes from tollygunge railway station. We ordered chilli babycorn for starters and in the main course we ordered mixed noodles and chilli chicken . The babycorn was exceptional coz it was very well cooked and tossed with hot and spicy sauce which made a new taste to it. The chicken was also great and noodles was also worth with proper amount of ingredients in it. I would definitely recommend all to visit it once.
I went this place some days ago.. This is a lovely place. The service was good. Now come to the food. I tried their basanti pulao and Chicken Curry. The food was tasty and the quality of the food was quite good. A pocket friendly place.
This is an amazing cafe, the ambience is fine and will be best for friends hangout.Talking about food, everything we had starting from fried rice & chicken everything was perfect. So will look forward to visit them again.
Tolly Cafe is a cozy yet quaint cafe located in Tollygunge, beside Bangur High School.A house is very thoughtfully converted into a beautiful cafe, with outdoor seating arrangements. The decor has a unique Desi vibe to it.The staffs are extremely polite and hospitable. Service was prompt.Coming to the food we tried a few different items,Luchi Cholar DalFried riceLemon chickenChilli fishFor the dessert we went for,Malpua with RabriCaramel CustardThe food was homely yet extremely tasty. They do not use any artificial flavours or colours. Both quantity and quality speaks for itself. Pocket pinch is very low.
Located near Bangur High School, Tolly Cafe is a small and cozy cafe which serves some really delicious food in an outdoor seating arrangement. The service is pretty fast and the staff is very humble. It’sa great place to hang out with your friends or family for a quick bite in the evening or a full dining experience at night. The food that we had included -1. Starters*Luchi & cholar dal – classic bengali dish combo . The luchis were puffed and fluffy and went well with the dal.*Crispy chili baby corn*Chicken lolypop2. Main course*Egg fried rice*Chilli fish*Lemon chicken3. Desserts ( malpua and pudding) – I would definitelyrecommend to try their malpua which is served with kheer on top of it. It was the perfect ending to our scrumptious feast.
