First of all, the owners of Canggu Café are very friendly. We always go here after our surf session to take a shower, fresh coconut and sometimes food as well. For this I should try the chicken wrap. Love it!
The place seems designed for a Western audience, with the Indonesian food declining in flavours or spices. We weren’t disappointed, but we weren’t terribly impressed either. I suppose it’s a quick grub stop for surfers or beach-goers, and in that sense it serves its purpose.
The restaurant is really close to the beach and have a big menu you can choose from. It’s quiet cheap, the food is good and the staff is really nice. What else could you ask for ?
A place to go and have a cheap meal .Chill meat people with same interests. Some nights they have acoustic music which is great. Especially if theres a slight breeze coming off the beach to keep the mozzies away.
