The Cat and Fiddle is an old favourite providing good food and drink at reasonable prices often accompanied by live music. Traditionally Irish songs are played but other music and local talent also appear.
We ate here numerous times. The staff are great, really friendly and entertained my son which made for an enjoyable dinner – which is why we kept returning. Food was also good, the chicken pie and kids meals are great value.
I have been to this restaurant four times now over 3 years, I only order the Pork Ribs , they are tasty, tender, meaty, gotta love these ribs ! Great local live music at 7pm , Irish theme , wait staff lovely friendly.
In the mood for Irish music and a few drinks but not a meal. Walked here from our nearby hotel to enjoy the band and Irish Music and cold beer on a hot and humid night. Band was fine and the beer was cold.
