Chef Will Meyrick is a manifestation of his desire to return to creating smaller restaurants serving the cuisines of Indonesia, the nation he has been a part of, for more than a decade. Hujan is Meyrick's vehicle in implementing his countless researches throughout the country, in contrast to his role of the iconic chef in the faster paced and urban restaurants of Mama San and Sarong.
