2nd trip to Surabaya and first place i visited once i reached Surabaya. Love the salted egg chicken soft bone here ! Do try the fried chicken and honey chicken as well. It’s worth a try when in Surabaya.

fried duck with salty egg sauce is so delicious, soft taste with nice sauce always make me hungry when i heard about this food. good food for traveler with cheap price on this place.
The tulang lunak concept is great, where the whole dish is slow/pressure cooked so the bones are edible. It is especially useful for fish dishes so we won’t have to worry about sharp fish bones.
To me, the chicken is a tad too sweet and the sambal isn’t that spicy to boost each other’s flavors. Anyhow, it’s a nice place if you want to have dinner with family and friends. As it has a small patio upstairs.
