My first bakso in Indonesia, and the best bakso I have during this trip. Locate between railway and bus station Probolinggo, so can stop by to try when you travel in and out of Bromo.
The soup alone is pretty flavourful and I enjoyed it with the lontong rice. Meatballs were alright generally. Do note that the tauhu is kind of sour – but not spoilt.
This place is famous meatball in probolinggo, the taste good but slightly oily. They serve very fast because already prepare everything.
This place is extremely hot. No AC. The owner provides some cooling fans which do not give much help during bright daylight.However, the meatballs are great. The soup is tasty and the fritters are yummy. I believe this is halal, too.
