We visited Bel Mondo cafe located at 3rd floor Sun Plaza Medan. We order salmon steak and pasta, all are delicious taste. They also have another kind of steak, Indonesian food, salad, etc. They specialized in steak.
It’s one of the oldest western cafe in Medan. It used to specialized in steak and noodle, but now it also serves Chinese and Indonesian food.Like the salad and Shanghai fried rice, but the rest is not so special.
They have a wide selection of Asian and Western food which is prepared well and delicious. The food is authentic. They don’t try to alter the food to suit local tastes. Ample servings except the salad bar needs some more variety.
One of my preferred cafes in Medan. Try the Seafood Black Pepper fried rice , although they are well known for serving a great Kwetiao Penang and fir dessert – Black sticky rice pudding with ice cream !

Nice ambience and tasty food. At first I was a tad reluctant to try as the cafe was quite empty on a weekend night. I was then pleasantly surprised to find that the salad and ayam rica2 that I ordered were good.
