About
Asmara Art and Coffee Shop or usually shorten as ASCOS is a cafe in Tirtodipuran Street which is offering different genre of live music every night. This house-like building is divided into two spaces. Inside there are an art space together with drinking space and in the outside there are small bar, and drinking space. Asmara serves Brazilian and Asian cuisines and producing our authentic organic instant noodles named Alamie. The atmosphere of this cafe are warm and comfortable. While drinking beer, we can enjoy the music that played by local bands. The schedule of live music from Monday to Saturday are Blues, Jazz, Legend Music, Rock 'N Roll (Rolling Stones Tribute). ASCOS also opens opportunities for anyone to hold events such as poetry readings, exhibitions, art performances or others relating with arts. Only for Sunday, ASCOS is closed.Details

Great place with good live music, dancing people, good drinks and a friendly atmosphere. Isolated from the busy main street, definitely a plus. We didn’t have any problem with the service, in fact the staff was much friendly and nice.
This is by far the best place in town to enjoy live music. Brown sugar and semendelic often perform here and make the night a happening. It’s only a small place, so it fills up quickly. Most of the crowd is local. My absolute favourite!
I got there by chance and it was one of the establiments i enjoyed the most in jogja.Live music was great, at the rythm of reggae.
Stopped in this place for a beer at the end of the day, and ended up staying for 2 hours. Really good live music, friendly service, and very inviting atmosphere, with a mix of locals and tourists. Good place to wind down your night.
