Really nice authentic Indian food and restaurant. I have been here a few times and by far the best value is their early bird which is two courses for €15.95 including rice or naan. I would recommend coming for the early bird as the Al la Cart is rather pricy as rice and naan is charged separately. The other night I had the lamb saag which was €16.95 excluding rice. I was with a group and others got the butter chicken, tikka and house curry so we split naan and pilau rice with the table. The pilau rice wasn’t what I expected, it was rice with coloured green and red rice, still tasted fine and the naan was lovely! I really enjoyed the saag, the flavours were perfect and the lamb was delicious, likewise with the butter chicken that by boyfriend enjoyed. All this was washed down with delicious cobra beer. The staff are very friendly and attentive and I would return however probably just for the early bird.

Bought a voucher on DealRush after eating in the restaurant once before. We got a voucher worth 40 euro to spend, but when we arrived we were told could not use this against the early bird menu which costs €16 for 2 course. Instead had to pay €16 for a curry with an extra 5 euro for rice and naan bread. I got butter masala, which was very tasty but kind have lacked a lasting flavour. Also tried the tandoori chicken, but was very disappointed to see how it was served and the chicken cuts that were used. On plate were 2 chicken drumsticks and a chicken thigh. Would have expected chicken fillet for the price paid. Service is good and a great location in Dalkey.
