I’m sorry but Shallots is not worth your buck!After ordering 4 items from the menu I was brought everything mixed into tiny buckets that you would use for thai/chinese food.I ordered the tandoori chicken starter, a butter chicken and a naan bread along with some poppadoms.Butter chicken is not supposed to be yellow, nor ever that sweet and for all of the indian restaurants that I’ve been to and ate from I’ve never gotten such a terrible portion of chicken. I got 8 cubes of chicken smothered in a bucket of sauce. A sauce which I did use and did eat because it did prove useful with the naan and the other chicken I had to add to it, but it wasnt the dish that i was expecting.The naan and the starters and the chicken in general was cooked great, but for what I was paying for, the MAIN, it was ridiculous. When I order indian food I expect to be stuffed after, even when I’m paying a tenner for rice and chicken somewhere else I’m satisfied because they know how to portion their food.Get rid of those tiny cartons and give people the right food for the price that they are paying. You’re an indian restaurant, start serving food like Indians do; full plates with meat/veg and less sauce.

A long time coming to the area but finally an Indian that gets better and better each time .I must be half way through their menu now and not one dish was questionable .. from tak a tak down to bhajis the freshness and quality from this take away is right up there .. in fact better than all the restaurants i have tried in dublin and better than some i tried in london.To anyone reading if you’re not a local its worth the drive !!!! Oh and if you dont see a favorite you like on the menu they will prepare it for you . The Bar has been set !
