We popped into The Elphin the other evening to have a bite to eat and to stay local. The Elphin menu is somewhat small, but there is something for everyone on it. Options range from Thai green curry, to the pub grub staple fish and chips. Being a traditionalist I went for the fish and chips and also ordered a pint of Guinness to wash it all down. The price was really reasonable coming in at under €20 for the pint and the meal. I would definitely recommend The Elphin if you are in the Baldoyle/Sutton area.
This place is super handy for the localers. Nice food and friendly staff. A small menu but delicious. I go a lot for their soup its always mouth watering. I highly recommend the club sandwich with chunky chips. For more of a main meal I recommend the fish and chips or their chicken penne pasta. I love the sticky toffee pudding if they have any left (they sadly run out of them sometimes) or there profiteroles. Only downfall is it is quite pricy but I do find it worth every penny!
