The place is situated right at the end of the Howth cliff walk near the Dublin Bus stop. Outdoor seating feels much better than the indoor ones and at the time of sunset it just feels spectacular. Place is vibrant and full on the weekends with tourists.Must have a pint of beer after the long cliff walk.
I got to the summit often as there is so much choice on the menu and it’s all at a great price! Their wings and quesadilla’s are really good! I also love their sticky toffee pudding!
One of the best places to go on a summers day to get away from it all.The Summit is your typical local pub with great food on offer. I have tried most dishes on their extensive a la carte menu and I have had no complaints on taste.However, the Summit loses two points for the worst service I have ever seen. Apparently, they are famous for it!!!
If you’ve just hiked your way up through the cliffs of Howth, The Summit Inn is your well-deserved reward. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is always very welcoming. They do a nice Guinness and the food is very tasty.
