Had lunch here just before Christmas. Great little bar just off Stephens Green. Really laid back, great choice at the bar (couldn’t partake due to work) and the lunch menu was solid. We settled on the hot dog. What came out was two hot dogs with chorizo mayo and chips. Great value for €12. Staff were very friendly and quick enough with the food.
This bar has recently been refurbished and they have done an excellent job of it! Particularly the display behind the bar! I have been here for lunch and drinks and the food was excellent. I wasn’t mad on some of the staff but others were nice! Apart from that I would recommend!!
Visited here recently. Very cool bar with friendly staff and great decor. Huge selection of whiskeys and craft beer. Restaurant upstairs really nice and comfortable. Also a bar upstairs. A small menu to choose from as we went for the Early Bird option but food very good good. Everything we ate was delicious – two had fish and two had chicken. Both faultless dishes. We shared a couple of desserts – the description was better than the actual dessert but tasty nonetheless. The waitress and maître de were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend both the bar downstairs and the restaurant. We will be back.
I dined twice during the month of December, once off the Express Lunch menu, while my other visit was from the a la carte lunch menu. I love the concept of the Express Lunch which offers two courses for €14 (or €16 with dessert). It’s a great option for a business lunch or catchup with friends.
