Tapas at Fade Street don’t stick to a particular cuisine so its ideal if you want to experiment. It does severely lack vegetarian options for Tapas I find some dishes over seasoned. Some dishes on the menu don’t pair well with others so be careful when choosing the combinations.I had the truffle pasta – The sauce was too overpowering with parmesan, chickpea and polenta chips, fried black pudding.
Beautiful place to hace a light dinner with good drinks. The restaurant serves only “tapas”, which means portions are small. I would not recommend this if you are starving. The duck is magnificent!Drinks are good and they have a good variation of cocktails, wine and beers. They have a nice Winter Garden if you smoke. And the view is amazing.Staff is nice and friendly.
Got a great offer from thetaste.ie so couldn’t wait to try this place. Went on a Sunday evening and was busy enough but not packed. Really friendly staff and the food was sooooo good. I can see why tapas are so popular. The lobster mini dog was amazing. Point end steak cooked to perfection. Two cocktails included so had them on the roof bar where it was chilled out and went another round or twoDefinitely be back to Fade St
So I was here on Saturday night and had been so excited for the tapas.I was utterly disappointed though I have no one to blame but myself and himself we ordered completely wrong. We got the leeks & duck eggs – it red well but was disappointed. Then we got the crab toasties my boyfriend enjoyed them but I don’t like crab so obviously wasn’t a fan. Then we got the dippy eggs and soldiers which was ok nothing amazing.I definitely want to come back and order right this time- what I did enjoy and will be getting again was the truffle pasta and the goats cheese under the little bites section they both were phenomenal. Mixed reviews altogether. We have no one to blame but ourselves we should have got some meat dish in the mix. I will be back and I will order right. Dave
Love the menu, it’s great to try lots of different things – all really delicious! Also lovely staff, we had never been here before and they made some excellent recommendations! Maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth it ! We had the crab toastie, duck, sirloin steak, leeks, roast potatoes and praline doughnuts- all faultless
