A small and quaint bar, it reminded me of a cruise ship’s bar, for some reason. There’s no background music, all of the background you need is the constant rambling of the customers. It actually incites you to speak, so it’s a good place to chat with friends. That said, it can get loud, but not uncomfortably so.The beer selection was different from what I had seen in other places. I tried two of the best beers I’ve had in Ireland (and in my life), a red ale called Galway Hooker and a weiss called Wicklow, both remarkably Irish. They were perfectly served by the competent staff and slid perfectly down our throats. It’s not the cheapest place, but you definetely pay for the great mood. A very nice pub, I’ll most likely be back!

A nice bar that’s a welcome change to the current staple in the area. Good service and drinks along with comfort and a nice crowd. No music is needed here as the banter is a plenty to create a good atmosphere.

Great pub! Small as it may be, it packs a lot of punch. Located at the top of South William street, beside the Stephen’s Green shopping centre, it’s the perfect place to go for a relaxing pint before dinner, or unwind after a days shopping. The staff are great, and they’ve got a good selection of beers on tap, including some craft beers. Lovely spot, never disappoints.

Tiny pub but really nice staff. The toasties are absolutely yum, classic pub lunch. Such a handy location as well, on South William Street. Nice mix of clientele.
