I ordered the fillet on the stone and it was disappointing to me to have to cook it myself. Of course the result of yourself cooking slices of the beef on a stone that gets colder as the time goes by is not the same as getting it perfectly cooked. It was also lacking seasoning and the mushroom sauce tasted vinegary.I enjoyed the side cauliflower dish. Polenta dessert didn’t make my experience better.Overall I liked the place and I would come back but wouldn’t get anything on the stone again.

I’ve long since been a fan of Dylan McGrath’s approach to food. The quality, the flavours, the presentation – it’s all there. The service has always been top class whenever I’ve visited. There are some dishes on the menu that have never changed, nor would I want them to. The truffle chips and polenta chips both being personal favourites. While it’s known for its meat offering, I’ve found dining as a vegetarian to be just as enjoyable, far from missing out. Thr wine list is very reasonable too and the desserts also delicious without taking away from the main event. Have been back many times over the years and plan on continuing to visiting again and again.

Lovely restaurant with a great, lively atmosphere yet not rowdy – it felt very upperclass. The waiter got nothing wrong and was never intrusive – seeming to know exactly when we needed. The dishes were very well presented and tasted healthy. The menu is extremely informative, so you know exactly what you’re getting and all intolerances are catered for. The food was delicious and just enough to satisfy.

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. An absolute dream to order from their menu for anyone eating with intoleranes, allergies, requirements or just wanting to be healthier/more knowledgable about what they are putting into their bodies. My go-to orders are the fish in a bag with the superfood salad & sides of green relish with peas and broad beans and the crunchy cauliflower (AH-mazing!) Go hungry and order the whole hog like me, you won’t be disappointed! My sister also highly recommends the chicken wings which she was surprised was one of the most unassumingly tasty dishes on the menu.
