Was here for a team lunch and was so impressed with the food, staff and decor! I ordered the macaroni and cheese (thanksgiving menu) and it was delicious! The service was also top notch and it was a lovely dimmed lighting atmosphere!
Beautifully laid out and quiet lunch spot beside the Merrion Hotel. I love the exposed stone work in this restaurant and there is ample private seating. Staff are polite and helpful. I was waiting on my colleague and was offered a newspaper while I waited.I opted for the goats cheese and tomato quiche which was served with a side salad. The portion was a bit small for the price but the taste was just delicious. The pastry was light and crisp. My colleague had the chicken Caesar salad and enjoyed it. This is a lovely place to catch up with someone over lunch and the menu is interesting and different while having a good few options to suit everyone. It is a bit on the expensive side as you might expect but it is a nice treat. Love this part of town as I feel like I could run into a celebrity at any moment!
One of my favourite little spots to go for a few drinks in town. It is located underneath the hotel. The cellar has a great atmosphere and has lots of different areas to sit down, they have kept the decor and layout very original and you would feel as if you were in the wine cellar of the hotel. Highly recommend this bar, I have not tried the food but it is on my list.
