Great food and lovely atmosphere. The Tapas is amazing and the around Xmas the decorations are like nothing you’ll ever see. Located right next to the Phoenix Park with plenty of parking.
I love it here. It’s not Christmas until I have had my annual night out here. The Christmas decorations are on another level! You have to see it to believe it. There is an Off Licence in the middle of the pub and you can even have a drink in there and just chill there among the bottles on wine. It’s really cool! Each section offers something different whether it’s an open fire, a more chilled out vibe or a restaurant atmosphere. The food is really good. The family platters are really good value and the tempura prawns are delicious. The Pâté with apple chutney & brioche toast is beautiful. The wings are delicious too. They also serve mini bottles of Prosecco or you can go buy a large bottle in the in the Off Licence and take it to your table!
Went here for a girlie catch up on Tuesday night. The place was packed. It was great. They have the place completely over the top decorated for christmas and it’s so warm and cosy. They have an early bird menu, an a la carte and a tapas menu. I just had a bowl of soup and my friend had a goats cheese dish and a chorizo dish. I think the prices are a little steep at an average 7-10 per tapa dish but it’s worth it for your surroundings. They also have an off licence on site where you can buy your wine and sit down and enjoy. Genius. Defo going back a couple of times over the festive season.
Went here for Tapas last night. It was so good. The tempura prawns were my favorite. Haven’t had ones as nice in a long time. Everything was lovely. Nothing I could fault with the food. We also had the chicken wings, which were nice, but nothing special, the garlic and chilli prawns were so full of flavor, only thing missing was some bread to soak up the oil. Also had the brie, pate and Mushrooms all of which were delicious! Being able to get a wine from the shop and not having to pay corkage was great. Made it a cheaper meal then usual. The staff were lovely too. There was a great buzz in the bar!
Love this place, it appears to go on forever and the pub part is really warm and cosy. I ate in the back dinning room where its a bit brighter and has a lovely airy feel to it. They have a huge selection of wine from the off license and the waiters are more then happy to give you a hand with picking one. The casual atmosphere makes this a great family dining spot!
