Visited the portobello today for a quick bit of food, go here for drinks quite often as they have good deals 3 desperados for €10 and €4 euro all drinks. Never have gotten food here so today I decided to try it out. Ordered the Brie to start along with the started portion of buffalo chicken wings, very nice portion of chicken wings, couldn’t finish them. They also do a deal a main meal along with a pint for €10, very reasonable deal. The person I was with ordered the bolognese with this deal and it looked nice. For pub food it was good, situated along the canal, perfect location to sit outside on a nice day.

Been in a few times for food as they have a daily meal deal – main course and a drink for €10 which i think is very reasonable. I got the spagetthi bolognese and the person i was with got the deep fried brie .. both meals were well presented and tasted lovely too . For pub grub this place never dissapoints . The portion size of the bollognese was slightly smaller than i would have liked but over all i cant really complain .As the saying goes you get what you pay for .Hollie Dillon
