If you haven’t been to Kafka Restaurant yet, then it’s time you floor that gas pedal and hit this place as soon as possible!. We went outside the Omniplex cinema fairly hungry and walking back we stopped in Kafka’s restaurant. Just like Ireland opens it’s arms to everyone with a warm welcome, that’s exactly how we felt coming in – a smiling man with menus in hand to get us to our seats.
Kafka is a lovely place, the staff all get to know you if you’re there often enough. There was a time when it was my go-to every Saturday. The brunch menu is lovely, as are the chilli wings. The sandwiches tend to be dry… and hard… but I don’t come there for those! (anymore)
Went here for lunch yesterday, I had the butternut squash salad which was excellent. My boyfriend had steak and fries. The food was excellent and good value, particularly the steak. The staff were very attentive and the food was very quick to arrive. The only suggestion I would make is to put the steak on a flat plate my boyfriend had difficulty cutting the steak in the round bowl. Will be back
