A quality local spot. Pleasant staff if a little bit slow from the kitchen. Such a shame they were out of sweet potato fries (read: devastation) but food was tasty. Shared the goats cheese crostini with a friend – would have liked more cheese but I’m greedy like that. I had a bunless burger which was a change for me but was good nonetheless. My friend had the salmon special which surprisingly tasty – it came with a Delish potato and courgette rosti. Shared the chocolate brownie which was definitely homemade, which I love. Was quiet enough but doing a decent takeout/deliveroo trade.
This was another brunch option that had been lingered on my list for ages until I managed to tick it off this month… I’d heard word of it being up there with some of the best brunches in Dublin so naturally had to make an effort to get down there & check it out.The menu was a more traditional take on brunch but with peaty of standard lunch options thrown in to accommodate any level of hunger or discern. The cafe had a lovely local vibe to it with families and groups of girls alike enjoying a meal out and there was a seating area out the back that would no doubt be glorious for a summer day.
Went here for dinner on Friday night, such a cosy little spot with an outside seating area too! Had buffalo wings for starter, chicken rotisserie in a creamy mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoe for main and the most delicious chocolate and caramel brownie with ice cream for desert! Such good value too only €22 for 2 courses or €25 for 3 (as part of their early bird which runs Al night). Pretty reasonable even if you ordered from their full menu either. Staff were great too! Would definitely recommend it for a quiet dinner!
Nina Simone on the speakers, a light orange cake on the plate. The kind of place you could relax over a bite on a Sunday, with watery Springtime sun streaming into the glass-filled afternoon suntrap and/or outdoor area at the back. There’s no hurry here, but don’t let that fool you, plenty of attention to detail (and plenty of staff). Nice little menu suggests they know their ingredients. Will definitely be back!
