About

This is a cute little caffe-bar that opened just ten days ago and I stumbled yesterday upon it by chance by taking a side street on a walk. The decor is red/black. The guys told me that they called it Alhambra because the downtown of Haifa where it is located used to be called Alhambra and they have an old photograph from the british mandate time where the building is to be seen where they have their venue. They also keep their door open with an antique sewing machine worth a fortune, though they are well aware of the value of the machine. Told me that they are using it that way for the time being until they figure out what to do with it, but that it turned out to be a great attraction, as many people ask them about the sewing machine. Nice decor, friendly service. Wonderfull coffee. They serve also salads, sandwiches and Munchies or how they called the little things on the side.
