About
"Berta" is a Bistro& Bar that has recently opened at Hillel Street in the center of Jerusalem, and which offers 60 meters of interesting and attractive vintage design with a young and colorful atmosphere. The dcor at "Berta" is calming and relaxing. The walls are covered with old-time news papers that reference the famous song "Caf at Berta's" which gave the inspiration for the establishment's name. "Berta" offers a successful combination: at the day time it's a coffee house that serve breakfast as well with a huge porch overlooking the street, which serves excellent food, and at the evening we served dinner with good music and a large selection of alcohol, served until the little hours of the night when the last customer goes home happy hearted. The rich menu at "Berta" is dairy-based and includes top quality coffee, excellent deserts and pastries, salads, sandwiches, snacks, pasta dishes and soups at affordable prices. On the menu you will also find surprising dishes which change daily and which certainly justify coming back again and again. Conveniently, "Berta" is open every day, including Saturdays, from 09:00 a.m. Come on by, it'll be Berta!Details

The food was terrible. We could hardly chew the burgers. Even the pizza wasn’t good. Service was very slow and unprofessional (the waitress forgot to place the order for one of our dishes and other requests remained unattended).
Most restaurants on the Sabbath are closed, we find it here, the boss and the staff are very nice. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful surrounding and melodious music. This is an unforgettable breakfast, after this we went to visit the old city.
