About Minato- Minato was established by Matan Rosenthal and Kobi Ninio as a sushi bar and offers traditional, extensive and varied Japanese cuisine for catering events. Minato Bar was established in Caesarea in 2004 - a Kosher Sushi Bar based on pure traditional Japanese cuisine. In addition to the sushi and sashimi menu, Minato also offers a variety of other unique Japanese dishes. Since its establishment, Minato has been adamant in utilizing techniques and methods used in Japan, placing emphasis utilization of local and seasonal raw materials. Minato was opened in Hertzeliya in 2011. It is a Japanese restaurant that incorporates styles from a number of cuisines. In the evening, it is a sushi bar and Izakaya, and for lunch, Donburi over rice and sushi, served as sets. The chefs: Aki Tamura - Japanese sushi chef of a prominent dynasty of Sushi chefs from the Minato quarter in Tokyo, and Matan Rosenthal- a highly experienced chef with extensive knowledge of both Japanese and French cuisines.
