About
Opened in early 2014 JAVA Caf is already creating a buzz. Just steps away from the beach in Central Tel Aviv, complete with wooden architecture, bright colours and lots of greenery, JAVA gives the sense of sitting in a beach house on a tropical island in the Pacific (look closely and youll even see monkeys hanging around). With its summertime soundtrack, giant beach umbrellas and unique lighting, JAVA promotes a diverse atmosphere. Come on a date, come for a business meeting, come one, come all bowties, surfboards and sandy feet are all welcome. Friendly wait-staff welcome you to wander in to taste the eclectic menu. Some customers like to pop in for a coffee, a fresh juice, a shake or an Acai-berry breakfast, while others enjoy an original take on Israeli classics like Merguez-sausage Shakshuka or Burekas with fried egg and avocado. The kitchen is open from morning-till-late, offering meals such as Green Cous-cous Salad, Slow-cooked Stews, and if you cant decide on one item, have a bit of fun with the original concept of sharing dishes. Sharing dishes are served on specially-designed platters order 3 mains and pay for 2, order 4 and pay for 3 and so on. JAVA is fully-equipped with high-chairs and sofas, but dont be fooled this beach caf transforms into a beachy-sheik hangout with a full-bar featuring house-bottled wine named Cheap, Good and Great, all at the lowest prices in Tel Aviv. Passers-by slow to a stop with wide eyes taken in by the dcor, aroma and down-right feel-good vibes.
