Had the Cono, wow! Puffy and crunchy wood-fired crust filled with mozzarella and ricotta and porcini mushrooms, topped with arugula and cherry tomatoes. Very memorable. Came for more at lunch today, but pizza is only at dinner. Definitely worth a detour for this pizza!
Pizza is ok, only I suspect that, in mine, the sauce was not by fresh tomatoes, but industrial concentrate. Too bad, because there, have genuine and really good local products. Even the mozzarella!
That’s what we got for 2 people:- For appetizer, Antipasto Casereccio and Mozzarella di Bufala;- Primula Pizza;- Profitterol dessert. Plus Wine and 2 water bottles, 31€ total.I strongly suggest the Primula Pizza 🙂
I had already been at Giovanni’s two years ago and I do have to confirm that its starters and its pizza are really delicious!!!
Fresh ingredients, large and tasty dishes, courteous service and hospitality, good location, mushroom soup is recommended!!
An unassuming small ristorante with a friendly and helpful service. Fresh funghi served many delicious ways – ours was a wonderful salad followed by excellent wild boar stew. All local fresh ingredients used for the regional dishes prepared by the chef.
